I have really enjoyed the process of creating Splendid Market, but it would never be as enjoyable if it weren’t for all of you wonderful subscribers and readers. As soon as we finish our European segment, we are going to tell you about some great gifts we are going to giveaway to many lucky subscribers to say “thank you” for your support. Once a piece is posted, it is neatly stored in the BACKROOM, which is organized so that you can conveniently retrieve the information at any time. In the BACKROOM, you’ll find you have access to all of the past posts, sorted, stacked and ready to be opened with just a click.

In the BOTANY department, you’ll find posts on bouquets, living flower arrangements, and fruit displays for every season. Also, there are plentiful visuals on splendid gardens and landscapes, some from the market and many of which we’ve found while roaming about the world.

CELEBRATIONS

When planning your next fete, take a stroll through the CELEBRATION department to find some fresh inspiration. The posts are sorted by season, theme or party planning stages.

CULINARY

In the CULINARY department you’ll find all of our food posts, sorted by courses and experiences. Click on the name of the post to read it. At the bottom of each post which includes a recipe, you can click the Foodista widget to access a printable version of the recipe. There is also information on favorite restaurants we visit including any tips or recipes we glean while visiting.

ROAM

While roaming the world, our insatiable curiosity drives us to constantly seek information on all that is interesting: delicious food, beautiful botanical displays, cultural ideas and cool things. When visiting the department of ROAM, you may find a place you’d like to visit or a custom or dish from a faraway land that you’d like to try at home.

SPLENDID OBJECTS

SPLENDID OBJECTS are items which we find enhance our everyday lives. Some are old, some are new, many are easily available in the Splendid Items section on the blog, and will be sent to you directly, thanks to our friends at Amazon.com.
